Sleep Deprived
Why is it that the moment when we are ready to drift into the arms of Morpheus we find are minds invaded by some of the most nonsensical rubbish? I mean you could just be lying down and enjoying your soft pillow when all of sudden you wonder if you watered your plants? Or if you should get up early and go to the gym like your suppose too? I mean seriously you have been awake for over 12 hours by this time but when your finally are calm and relaxed your brain just makes you aware of all these ideas floating around. It also seems to me that in the moment that you can't fall asleep is always the day before you have to be well rested for a long or early day. Even as I type this out right now, I had made plans to wake up two hours before my usual Monday time and work out. But I am still wide awake and I have a very long day ahead of me. But what kind of insight does this bring us? Have we become such a hectic civilization that even a time meant for relaxing is unattainable as our brain rushes to keep up? I do know one thing, if this becomes the norm routine I can understand way there is a such a huge section of sleep aids in every pharmacy.
